Hi,

My son is 9 year old and am deciding between the above 2 schools. It will be good to know the teaching environment, teachers approach and academics etc.

Any one with kids attending these schools
Looking forward for your valuable feedback !!!

GEMS has an impressive number of teaching staff from outside Malaysia. Often this type of experience determines the strength of the education on offer.

They are in very different locations and environments. A lot depends where you plan to live and where your workplace is located.

If you plan to live in Mont Kiara, then probably GEMS is a better choice because of access. Taylors also has a branch south of KL.

One more concern GEMS session starts from Sep-July whereas Taylor’s follow local Malaysian calendar. Will there be any issues after year 11 in pre university and university starting sessions ??
