My husband and I are planning to retire to Cuenca in December 2013. Our first question for the forum: We have a pretty extensive wine collection. Are we allowed to bring it with us when we ship our initial good? Is there a limit to the amount we can bring in?

Aduana allows you to bring under the "menaje de casa" all your personal belongings without duty.

Since the wine collection is a personal belonging, in my opinion I would say you can definitely bring it. However, it's best if you consult with the shipping company you plan to use to confirm.
