Regarding ordering residence card

Post new topic

Hello friends and advisers,

I got a decision that my residence permit is granted. I am resident of Germany and currently I have no address in Norway. I booked an appointment with Police for residence card. I have question that is it possible to order residence to my address in Germany or is it mandatory to have an address in Norway. Please help me with valuable answers.

Thanks.

Best,
Aasoori

You mean for picking up the card? You can request to pick up the card directly from Udi office. They do that as well but you need to let them know when you go down to take picture and biometric for the card. Not sure if you should use foreign address because they do not seem to be using registered mail for sending the card.

They do require you to have a Norwegian Physical Address, as there where the Resident permit card will be sent to. But If I were you, I would call the Police or the UDI regarding this.
