Dear All:

We will be moving from Scotland to KL in Nov-18. I have one 5 year old daughter. My work place will be in Petronas Twin Towers. Hence I am looking for a reputable International Primary School for my daughter around the Twin Tower area.
The British International School and The International School KL look quite far away from KLCC. Welcome your comments and views.

Kind Regards, EmaDas

There is Alice Smith just outside KLCC/Bukit Bintang.

Hi Gravitas:

Thanks for the note. I have read in this forum parents prefer British International School or ISKL. Are these much better schools. Could anyone please comment.

Thanks.

BIS has good reputation but not convenient if living in klcc.

In fact Alice Smith is probably the very top rated primary school in KL and convenient to klcc.

All three have highest fees for international schools. Your preference will depend on visiting schools.

Another good school is https://isp.edu.my/

In general, Desa Park City is an interesting location popular with expats and the local chinese community

ISKL is very convenient for other popular areas such as Beverly Heights and the Ukay zones - out by the zoo

Thanks. Really appreciate your feedback.

ISKL has a new branch starting in August in Ampang Hillir..It should be around 4-5kms from KLCC..you can try that school..

Gravitas

Personally, some of the international schools could be a bit overwhelming in terms and sheer size and intensity for some 5 year olds.

Hi Emadas,

ISKL is a fabulous school - you won't go wrong if you choose it for your daughter. It's less than 5km from KLCC as well.

Hi - I recently put together a map showing the locations of (most) international schools in the city. This might be helpful to you?

Alice Smith is superb and certainly up there with the strongest British schools in the country. ISKL is also excellent. I'm sure your daughter would thrive in either school - I wouldn't probably consider BSKL due to the distance.

Feel free to PM me if you have any specific school questions or if I can help in any other way!

EmaDas

Hi..many thanks for the school map. It's really helpful. Also thanks for your feedback. I will contact you for any further queries..Thanks.

Hi Kiwin!

Any review on Global Indian International school.

I am basically from India but in South Africa now.. looking for a school for my 5 year old.

Looking for a school that is academically driven with good focus on extra murals, and also prefer the school where parents involvement is welcomed, meaning not old school type with strict environment where parents or even students got no say. Looking for more open and friendly environment in the school with moderate fees.

TIA.

Hi there,

Happy to help with a few schooling suggestions. If you can PM me your rough budget for school fees per year, I will try and suggest some solid options in that price range :)

Cheers
