Hi,
I may have to send my passport back to the UK and have it returned to Phnom Penh, Is the postal system here secure? and what would be the best way. Thanks in advance

Hello Tom.

First question: is it not possible to get things done at the British Embassy here in PP?

If not and you really have to send your passport back to UK, I would not do it by post, better to use a courier like DHL, Fedex or UPS. They either deliver back to your door or you can pick it up at their office. There is no postal service here, the only thing is the sender should put your phone number on the envelope and then hope they will call you.
I would prefer in such a delicate case to use a reliable courier.
