Hi Guys

My partner and i have been married for almost 9 months, we bought an apartment together quite recently. They rejected our application last year for a residence permit for myself as a South African citizen.

To sum it all up I wanted to know seing that we have submitted all documents and share property would this increase decrease the processing time to less than 3 months or would it be the actual full 3 months.

Thanks again

Hi, I dont think owning a property together gives weight to the processing time. But as far as I know, meeting the minimum income requirement for the reference partner is more important.

Thanks for your response. We do meet the minimum requirements, we've done all that they've requested also.

Everything should be alright then. Believe me nobody likes the waiting game.  Goodluck in your application and just be patient for their case handling. Some people get approved fast, some people waited a bit longer but what’s important is that you get approved in the end. :)

Thanks for the kind words and that's all true haha 😆.

Enjoy your evening.
