I am a Hairdresser in the US, I want to move to Russia and be a Hairdresser there. Do I need to be licensed in Russia? How does this work?

There is a licensing system in Russia but you could probably use a US license. If you are coming on your own you will probably not make enough money to live. The cost of living is very high in Russia, especially in Moscow. If you are coming with someone else who has a job you can probably find work but not enough to live on. You also would need a work visa which would likely be very hard to get. A hair salon is not likely to be willing to support something like that.

Thank you. Where do I find the licensing agency?
