ATM Cash Withdrawl Charges :(

Post new topic

john connel

Hi 👋,
I’ve just moved from England to Siem Reap this week and am looking forwards to getting to know the expat community.
Can someone recommend an ATM in town that I can make cash withdrawal from using my Debit Card and not charge large amounts.
I withdrew $500 yesterday and paid $13.75 In fees !!! 😡

Thanks
John

Hello John.

Open an account at a local bank, then you have no charges at all.

Canadia bank only wants you to have a passport with a valid visa, rental contract and a deposit of $10.

Cheers.

The ground floor of the Lucky Mall has several ATM machines.  I'm only charger $4 or $5 per transaction.
