I’m trying to get an understanding of how to use the local transit system but am a little confused. Is there no way to buy multiple tickets, only a monthly pass? Will the monthly pass work on the 01 bus outside of the city limits or would that be additional? Is the only way to buy tickets from the driver? Do drivers have change? Also, the route maps of individual busses don’t seem to match my Google map or the overall system map. Thanks for any insight...

you can search Danabus app on Google Play store. The bus is not popular in Da Nang ( different HCMC and Ha Noi, more wide road and population is not very large ) because we use motorbike faster and the bus net hasn't spread widely enough around the city now.The City Government has just built the bus net for over 2 years and tries to open more new bus routines. You can search web of Danabus. It is always live on internet.

Sorry, can't help you with DaNang bus, but you've lived in some great places.

Don't be intimidated, I've found bus drivers and conductors (selling tickets) here in HCMC very nice, tolerant and understandable compared to many other places.

I've had more trouble in London!
