EP Stage II time

Greeting to you all!

I am moving from India to Malaysia and stage I of my EP is done. I ll be flying to KL on 26th Aug with VDR visa. If I submit my passport on 27th for Stage II endorsement, are there any chances of getting it back before 7th Septemeber?

I ll be travelling to Thailand from 8th to 12th Sept and my tickets are already booked. What if I travel to Thailand before Stage II endorsement and once I am back from my vacation, then submit my passport for endorsement.
I think the VDR is a single entry visa and in that case, there might be some issues but I also have a multiple entry 6 months tourist visa of Malaysia on my passport. Can I travel on that visa to Thailand?

I need some expert opinion before leaving the country.

No chance at all to get the endorsement. It's Merdeka public holidays

The VDR is single entry so if you leave before getting endorsement you will need to get a new VDR.

The VDR supersedes the multiple entry visa.

Are there any chances, if i submit for endorsement on 21st Aug and expect my passport to be back by 7th Sept. My EP application is thru MDEC.
