I live in Cebu and I want to make some changes (not major) to my American Will.   Does anyone have a lawyer who is familiar with those kinds of actions (whether or not it can be done from here WITHOUT going to manila american embassy, and if it can be done, how to properly do it?) and of course with a fair charge

Slighting off topic, apologies.

Please consider/check that a Will is only relevant to the location/jurisdiction of where the ASSETS are held.

i.e if you own assets in the Philippines (Car, bank accounts) etc. and whish that in the event of your death, have these assets distributed according to your will, that you will need to have a Will made in the Philippines, based under the law of the Philippines.

Vise versa, a Will in the Philippines has no legal empowerment over assets held in another country.

Having said this in the event of your death a court will look at other supporting documents (though not bound by them) such as a Will made out in another country.
