NON-EU Family Member of EU, is allow to work on Malta?

Hi

My partner (Spanish) has received an offer to work on Malta and we are considering to move there. My main concern is my chances on easily finding employment once I get to Malta.

After checking some threats on the matter, I know it is possible to get a family member permit when your spouse is working in Malta. My question is: would I be able to work on Malta with a family member resident permit? Or if I find an employer would I be consider with the same rights as an EU member since I am a family member of EU citizen?

Double check on Citizenship website, but I think it states that you have the same rights as your EU citizen spouse.

If you are married you have the same rights. Bit more paper to fill in but freedom to work here etc
