Relocation to penang

Hello,

I have an opportunity to relocate to Penang through my company . Can anyone please help me with data on below questions.

1. Average monthly rental for a 1 bedroom flt and a 2 bedroom flat. Also what would be approximately area in a 1 bed and 3 bed flat ?

2. Average grocery expenses(only veg food ) for 3 people ?

3. Day Care facility availability there ? Please suggest few good options also .

4. Public Transport facilities and cost .

5. Average cost of living for 3 people in Penang.

6. Average salary of 6 year experienced embedded software engineer.

Regarding COL, it's hard to say because following the election and change of government, GST was abolished and SST was introduced. It will affect some prices. So everything is a bit in flux but you can cross check by say going to supermarket websites to check prices. The main ones are Giant (low cost) Tesco or Aeon (medium cost) and Cold Storage (higher end).  COL is difficult to predict because it depends on lifestyle. Rental costs have a huge range mainly based on location, size and age.

I don't know precisely which data you have viewed but it's always good to cross reference say KL with Penang.  In the past Malaysia has been about 30% more expensive that many cities of India.
