Moving to KL soon

Post new topic

Komal Kiran

Hi!

We will be moving to KL soon from India, so wanted to know which school would be best for my 5 year old got to know that Global Indian International school would be best, any other suggestions on the best schools would be appreciated. Also would like to know which is the best place for accomodation and what would be the rent, is it true that we can find good accomodation in Bangsar for 1500 - 2000 ringget for a 2 or 3 bed condo? Also would like to know if it's easy to find domestic help on monthly basis as I have a toddler so it would be easy to manage the house, and what would be the best fee for which I can find domestic help. All the suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Vikas is also an option for Indian curriculum https://schooladvisor.my/cbse-curriculum/

Seems rather low rental for Bangsar but possible in surrounding areas. Check on www.iproperty.com.my or www.propertyguru.com.my or www.propwall.com.my

Seputeh is popular with Indian families.

Live-in help cost varies depending on nationality of helper but around Rm1500 monthly. Live-out usually on hourly charge from Rm18 upwards per hour

I don't think you can find a 2/3 bedroom condo in Bangsar for below RM2000/month unfortunately.

Tx.. Ya I was checking on condos on rent and found that not 3 but 2 bed condos is what I can possibly find in bangsar.. any suggestions on which place near klcc would be nice to stay in.

Thanks in advance for the responses.

Can I also get reviews on Sri Dashmesh for schooling is? And is it near by klcc?

Is it possible you can make a trip here now and go see the schools for yourself and also look at condos? Have you been here before?

Komal Kiran

I haven't been to KL before. I will be there in December and that is when I will have to check for schools.. confused abt GIIS, as would prefer a school that is both academically driven and good focus on extra mural's. Prefer a school where kids and parents both have their say, the school that is not like an old school type with a strict environment.. any suggestions plz?

TIA.
