Hi,

I am getting my dual citizenship with Romania. Since  they an EU country, does this qualify me for being able to live in Iceland?

Iceland is not an EU member. It is a member of the European Free Trade Association.

Iceland is a member of the Nordic Passport Union and the Schengen area. You may be able to travel in Iceland but working may be a problem.

Romanian citizens can enter Iceland on their national ID card.

Best you contact the nearest Iceland Embassy for information. try www.utl.is for Embassies and representatives abroad.
