Dating Egyptian man in America

Hey so I recently started dating an Egyptian man. He's great especially open minded about me being an expecting parent. But I've heard so many bad things about Egyptian men being scammers or abusers I'm a bit scared to continue with him even though he hasn't given me any red flags yet. As a black female I know what it's like to be stereotyped and I refuse to do that to anyone but I dont want to end up hurt or worse. Also we both live in America about an hour away from each other. Could everything just be an act? Just looking for advice.

I moved from UK to Egypt and have heard lots of horror stories aswell.
I would be looking out for things like...
What residency status does he have?
Does he have a job that can provide a decent standard of living?
Does he send money "back home"
If you go on a date.....who pays? Splitting the bill is good but it's nice if he offers
If he starts asking you to buy him things
It's not just Egyptians btw...there are people everywhere who take advantage of others...

Hi

being with you in states its a guarantee somehow that he is not a scammer like others facing scams here , most of who got scammed here are women who came for short vacation and got into a fast relation with room housekeeping or the resort barman married orfi for sex and sure they got scammed and started complaining after loosing their saved money here .

every lady has her own experience with scammers here , others had no problem , others couldn't support the culture differences .

princess Diana even dated el fayed and let prince charles playing xbox home and you sow the result .

you example is different than who got bitten here, most important is to check if he is single in Egypt or no

I think you answered the question that you had asked up here that you hate being stereotyped. All humans have pros and cons , and I think you are grown up enough to distinguish between mean people and good ones. Might be some differences in culture, but to have morals it's away from point of origin, so basically a good Muslim is profoundly a good man with women believe me . Cheers !

I see every body is talking about Egyptian scammers, and this is for a good reason, good men never complaint about their bad experience, mostly never give thought about anything, so here what I think, I agree with all of you but nicely said from Mostafa, specially it could be just regular issues sprats between a couple, not because one of them is bad or even scammer, that happens any way, just be careful and be happy, and stop expecting the worse, it comes anyway from anywhere at anytime ,,,,,,, bas
