Spouse Sponsorship

A husband can sponsor his wife through the company / sponsor he is employed with. The reverse is not permissible by the Oman Labour Laws.

Giving the NOC is at the sole discretion and decision of the employer. There is nothing either by law or by any other means for an employer / sponsor to grant the employee the NOC.

And no employee can demand the employer / sponsor for an NOC.

That is why the whole NOC system is seen as biased and flawed by the employees, and as fine by the employers / sponsors.

Thanks for the reply. But, nurses and doctors can sponsor their husbands.

Hi Ola, NOC is given for employee only who are sponsored by the company when they are planing to move to other company in Oman, but for the family members who are planing to work, they dont need to have NOC from any one, and there are range of jobs where the employee can sponsor his family.
