Hi the community,

I am looking for information about marriage. I am French and my boyfriend is Tanzanian. We know each other for 4 years now and we want to live together because until now he is living in Dar and I in Europ.

Do you know if the French Embassy deliver a special visa in order to get married in France?
Anyone has experience?
We are still wondering and hesitating to do it in France or Tanzania.
I get in touch with french women who get married in Tanzania, it looks quite complicated; probably it is the same to organise it in France. I want to be sure to do the right choice.

I quit my job in Germany and I have to plan to find a new job in France or to stay some months in Tanzania, the time that the wedding is well done.

After being married and if I apply for a dependant pass, can I work in Tanzania?

Thank you very much for your response,

Hi,

You did not mentioned your name.

You can marry in Tanzania or you can call your boyfriend to europe on visit visa and marry there.

You can apply dependent pass but u can not work here on dependent pass.

If u want to work in tanzania you have to search job and then get work permit.

You can get citizenship here by naturalization.

But my advise not to take citizenship here bcoz if u take TZ citizenship you have to surrender your europe passport.

Your passport is more powerful then Tanzanian passport.

If you have any question just write me feel free.

Regards

Vicky
