Post new topic

I'm applying for POSB account and got rejected once, submitted again and got asked for more documents, also submitted and now l'm still waiting...

My friend says UOB just takes 20 minutes to open a bank account. I'm thinking about trying UOB. Now I want to withdraw my POSB application but I don't know how. Please let me know what I should do.

Visit their branch where you had submitted the documents and ask them to withdraw.

Don’t think UOB will open your account in 20 mins. They will too ask the documents and verify it prior to approval.

There is no harm in having two bank accounts in the end - thus I would keep both applications open!

New update: It took me about 30 minutes and I have my UOB debit card in my hand now.
