Hi all,
Can anyone suggest me, is there any chances to prepone my permesso Di soggiorno finger print date in Rome.
I have applied for job seeking visa and the finger print date is about more than 3 months.
Companies are asking for visa card rather than paper.
I would lose a job if I don't dont get the finger print within a month.

Please suggest me on this issue.

Thank you.

I tried to do so in Lecco without success. And like you although assured otherwise when I received the paper receipt it is not acceptable in most instances. In my case the commune would not register my address, which meant I could not buy a car, and could not open a bank account. In my case the finger print appointment was six months wait and ven then it is another 40 days to collect the card. In other words it takes eight of your initial twelve months to actually be recognised as a resident. My attempts to make an earlier appointment for the finger prints were rejected.

I hope you have more luck.
