if I want to book into a hotel for a weekend break do Ihave toshow them my residence card or just take my passport?

Hi Kay booth,

I think passport will be enough as tourists for example don't have any residence card and they can still book a room etc...

Perhaps residence card applies if the hotel has some kind of promo/discounts for nationals or residents.
