I am from Montreal, new here and I don't know much about Belize. I have been to Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherland and Cyprus. I am 58 years old and looking for a warm place to eventually retire full time or at least spend winters. I don't know where to start and would like to plan a visit in the fall of this year. What city or cities should I see first and where not to go at all 
I am open for suggestions. Thanks.
