Post new topic

Farzan talebi

Hi I'm about to move to KL next month and I was wondering if is it possible to open am bank account for me since I have an Iranian passport. Thanx

You need a work permit or other type of long term visa plus a letter of introduction (Mm2h approval is acceptable) to open an account.

As far as I know, with carrying the following documents, you are able to open up a bank account.
1.passport with professional visa stamped
2. a letter from the company that you work in
3. your residency gas, Electricity bill

Currently I think it's difficult for Iranians unless they are extending their banking relationship with an international bank of which they are already a client.
