Greetings,

Look for English writers in Barcelona. I am starting a project to collate short stories from English writers living in Barcelona. Independent writers to help promote their work.

I am a published writer. My blog: carlojvella.blogspot.com/

If there is anybody interested, drop me a line here or my email.

Cheers

Not in Barcelona for another year, hopefully your project would be full bloom when I arrive :)

There will be more projects - the first of many. Yes, Barcelona has that air about it; lifestyle, people, the weather. It's all here. Barcelona awaits!!! Cheers

Alright, I confess, I'm interested.  I have always had the desire to write, I tried as a teenager.. Since I have fallen quite silent.  I can't find my voice and I'm terribly lost as far as story writing goes.  I read constantly and I have tried many times to write short stories. I'd be interested if you have any advice and I'd love to try and write something for your project.  Is there a theme to these stories you are looking for?  Stories from living here in BCN or just general?

Paganos

Well, the stories we are looking for are fiction - paranormal and crime. Not easy to sit and write something. it takes patience and sometimes allot of it.

If you are interested in writing, find time to sit and just write whatever comes to your head. Don't worry to much of how it will turn out. You can always correct it. Write something that really interest you - a subject that you like to write about.

I will be giving free writing classes after summer when the new school season begins. If you are interested keep in touch.

As for the project, depending on what you right and how good it is, it can get published. You never know your luck. I receive a number of short manuscripts for me to look over. If you write something and it can be only a couple of pages, I will be happy to look it over and get a feel as to your writing.

Cheers

Definitely keep me posted on the classes, would you be giving them in English?  My Spanish is not quite up to snuff... I hope much better by the end of summer but still, I don't think I could manage a Spanish writing course ;) I'll work on beating my anxieties down and just sitting to write and keep you posted.  Thanks for the advice!

Paganos

The classes will be in English so no problems there. One thing about writing, it can get boring and the interest can be lost as quick as clicking your fingers. It happens to me every now and then. Take care

Writing classes? I would be happy to know more!
I love writing, but do it in my own language mostly (norwegian), so I am not sure I could contribute with something good in english.. but still, I am interested in knowing more about the classes and the project, sounds very nice!

Hi Life's good and I'm sure it is living in wonderful BCN LOL... It will also be a good way to meet other people. I did this last year with a group of 12 people. Though they were not from here. Depending on the amount of people I get it could either be a go ahead or not. Only time will time. I also get the students involved in some historical research on famous landmarks and how to incorporate the information into a story. A great day out!

This all sounds very good. If it'll happen I would love to be informed!
