So my card has just arrived, I’m working right now. I just want to know if I ever stop working how long do I have to find a job I’m from the uk

As you have your residence card I would not have thought it made any difference if you were between jobs.

If you're resident in Malta before 29th March it does not really matter how long you don't work, your residence is valid and you'll get a new 10 year permit.

After it becomes a lot more complex.
