Good morning,

We are researching cable packages for when we make our move to Las Terrenas.  Since this will be our primary residence, we are hoping to at the very least have some of the more popular cable channels (that we watch in the US) televised in English.

Is this something that Claro offers or is it offered from another carrier?  Do we need a translation device of some kind?

Any knowledge of this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tracy

Many of the carriers, including Claro,  have the major networks on their lineup. You just choose the level of plan that has what you want.

Some of those channels are only English, some are both and you choose what language you want with your remote.

Telenord is the cable company many use in Las Terrenas and gives a good service with plenty of channels. My recollection is that the sports channels also give sporting events in Europe too.

Here is a channel listing from the past:

Thanks so much for the link and information about Telenord.  Greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.  Happy to know that there will be options for English televised channels.
