Superlegalization

Post new topic

xXCherryXx

I'm from Singapore, my husband is from Romania and we'd like to register our marriage here in Bucharest and they're asking us to super-legalize my birth certificate (which is originally laminated by default from Singapore) Where do we go to in Romania (Bucharest) to do that or it must be done in Singapore?

Thanks.

From what i learned so far about superlegalization is first you have to translate your birth certificate at least in english, and then legalize it in notary, then legalize it in ministry of justice in your country, then legalize it in ministry of foreign affairs in your country, then legalize it in Romanian embassy in your country, and when you arrive in Romania, you have to legalize it again in Romania ministry of foreign affairs in Bucharest. That’s what i did and i’m from Indonesia. You should contact Romanian embassy in your country for the procedures. good luck
