Good day

I'm a South African, and my fiancé a British citizen. We want to get married in the UK. Getting all the documents in South Africa, takes months. Can anyone  advise me, if I need to get a letter of no impediment to get married (I've never been married). Can't seem to find this information anywhere.

Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

No, the UK does not require these documents to get married; the full details are on the UK Gov website; this link will take you there.

Hope this helps.
