Looking for work in germany

Post new topic

MadamB

Im a young lady from Namibia
Im looking for any job in germany
Salelady,nanny or aupair/family in germany.
I love tourism job related , but im flexible in any sort of job available , as im a hardworking lady ,a go getter. I will appreciate a family that will appreciate to have an african lady as their family.

An international move requires a high degree of dedication and sense of purpose.
Thus "looking for any job" will NOT work!
You need to focus on your core skills (because you must be better than Europeans to be hired), do thorough reserach about your target industry, apply directly at employers for specific jobs you can do well and then convince them that it is in their own interest to hire you and not any available European (with much less formalities involved!).
This forum will not give you a job, but lots of advice about how to search for one - if you care to read existing discussions about the topic.
And if you want to beciome Aupair instead of finding a job (your post is not clear - do you know the difference?) there is a completely different set of requirements and methods to search for a host family - consult specialist websites to see whether you qualify (as there's not much information yet on this forum, but you are welcome to add to it!).

I strongly agree with Beppi’s post. Non-EU citizens must have needed skills to get a work visa. Just being a “hard worker” isn’t enough. And one needs to know what being an au pair means. For the people eligible it is a way to get to know Germany and learn the language. This can be a step for someone to find another way to stay in Germany like studying or doing a technical training - assuming they are successful is using their time well to learn the language.  The pay is basically pocket money and not like a real job. But there are strict rules who can apply. This subject has been discussed often on this site in the past. See the below link for a thread on the subject of au pairs.
