Hi community

I plan to go live and work in Philippines from June. I am flexible on the city to live in. Could be Manila or an other region. I am from Morocco; I speak/write three languages: Arabic, English and French. I have skills in IT and Finance.

I have three questions:

1) Is it easy to find a good paying job in Philippines  for a new comer?

2) Are salaries in Philippines  (as seen in job ads), tax net or gross?

3) What is a good salary for a lifestyle that is wise enough just to be able to afford a rent of an independent appartment, an average car, food... no extravagances. For example is 75k - 100k pesos a good salary?

Thanks

You really need to have a specialized career focus that is in strong demand to make a good living in the Philippines.
Even the most menial service jobs here require a four year college degree and there are always many more applicants than there are job openings.
I am retired here so I can enjoy a good life without financial constraints but I know this would be a very difficult country to work in for a foreigner without strong ties here.
If you have things pretty good in Morocco I would rethink moving to the Philippines if you are expecting to find a job that would fulfill your requirements.
Please do a lot of research before committing yourself.

If you know other languages than english, try to find the job that requires those language. That would be your advantage since most Filipinos already know english but not other language. The Philippines is a BPO hub and those BPO companies have clients from other countries that do not speak english.
