Hi I am planning to relocate to Gambia and I have a large transport to move over with lots of spare room. What would you recommend I bring with me from the UK that I wont be able to buy there? I am also considering gifts for my new friend and family that will be well received by Gambian people? Food or household items or anything that would be especially useful?

Hello Jane, I'm a Nigerian and i currently live and work in Gambia. Well my advise is that you bring if possible everything, trust me you are going to need a lot and those you dont need will be happily accepted by people. Just load up and come lol.

I agree, quality goods are harder to come by and much more expensive.
