Hi Everyone
As we (me, wife and 2 kids) finally decided the date to move on. Initially we are looking for a short term rental apartments (2 months) between Mid of May - July (Amsterdam/Amstelveen). I have reached to few agencies, but they all don't provide short term.

looking forward to your response.
thanks

Christine

Hi Fowzh4u,

Try to put an ad in the housing in Amsterdam section as well.

Good luck,
Christine

Hi again.

For a rental of that duration, you're probably looking to use something like AirBnB; they're not cheap, but generally, are reliable and most will have previous user reviews that both you and your wife can read/compare.

There is a shortage of rental accommodation in the Netherlands and what you see on the Internet, if it's decent, has probably already gone and is there just to get your attention to try and rent you the other stuff that for whatever reason is not so good, or maybe even a scam (they're taking advantage of your need to provide for your family).

Whatever you do, do not rent anything you haven't physically seen and been inside; we've heard stories of people being scammed in front of a front door.

Hope this helps.

im talking to some of serviced apartments, if that helps.

thanks again.

You won't find an apartment for just 2 months, it's going to be very difficult to find one for long term too.
