Confused about Visa

Post new topic

Joonam

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone could enlighten me in regards to visa.
Arrived for a 30 days visa before it ended I left to Cambodia for 5 days and came back. At the immigration they weren’t keen to let me in.(with several questions they didn’t tell me why) anyway they let me in but said that next time I need to get non immigration visa. (Also wish to stress that I have been coming here every 3 or 4 months and Never staying more then the 30 days.)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, all these 30 day trips add up so you would be better getting a 90 day visa and extending it for 30 days . Regulations change often and sometimes the officers arent even aware of them . I managed to stay for 2 years before but i have 2 passports uk and irish and i would swop them about every 4 or 5 months. There are so many different types of visa it can be confusing.. Also it depends a lot on the mood of the officer on the day . Dont dress as a back packer , wear shirt and trousers as you pass through and that act of respect will earn you some leeway

Visa runs are a thing of the past
do as immigration says or get refused entry
if you are 50 or over apply for a non O visa
if your life depends on it then do some reading from the thai immigration website

^^ Ciao. Marco

Kindness smile and education always give points at every border in a special way in Thailand. It is no coincidence that it is called the land of smiles. Even dressing NOT shabby with points like answering with arrogance raises many. Would you be kind and helpful with those who turn with arrogance and because you're used to wanting this and that in your own country? When in Rome do as the Romans do. ^^ Hi. Marco
