I want to live in Philippines Where i wnt to set up a Amateur Radio station...
I do have the english Full Amateur Radio transmitting license...

Is there any philippine Amateur Radio operatER on this EXpat the i can talk with to get help with my problem thats brought on by the philippines NOT MY SELF nO

Hi Fred,

According to the Foreign Investment Act, foreigners are prohibited from owning any equity in any mass media company (except recording), http://www.chanrobles.com/default3.htm#.XPH0uBYRUlQ. I would think this would also apply to an amateur radio station. I would suggest getting decent legal advice before moving forward.

There is a lot of options if you want to be a part of a radio field in Philippines: ph.jobsora.com/jobs-radio started out there too and I liked how much experience I got that helped me with journalism in the future. I definitely recommend it.
