Can an expat's engineer husband find a job in Saudi Arabia?

Hi,
I am from India and have an offer as an assistant professor in Saudi Arabia. My husband is a mechanical engineer with 8years of experience in India. I read about the law, according to which, dependant engineers cannot work in the kingdom. So please help me with the questions below. I am not finding any information regarding this

Can my husband come in on a dependant visa and then look for a job ?

Will he be hired and the visa status be changed?

Or should he come on a visit visa and look for a job?

I read your post and i am in the same situation. My wife is a doctor and we are plannning to all relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Have you and your husband been able to resolve his situation? Your answer would really help me in my situation.

Spouse can't work in any case untill he will not come. On his own work visa
