Im British and have been living in the Philippines with my Filipna wife since last year. Im just coming to the end of my 12 month probationary visa and immigration have indicated my wife needs to now write a letter of invitation even though we’re living in the same house. We’re confused what to write so we’d be grateful if anyone can give some ideas or point us to a template. Thanks.

Hi,
Yes it is a symbolic way of saying your wife is your sponsor, not anybody else. If the link between you is broken, your 13A will be downgraded to tourist visa. You have a sample from another thread of expat.com
