retire to nairobi for a friend

i am a pensioner and want to retire to nairobi my only income is my state pension
is it possible to do that
what if i was to find a wonderful kenyan lady would that help me stay

Get yourself Class K Permit

Good morning,

Tell your friend to apply for a Class K Permit which applies to ordinary foreign residents in Kenya.

Note that for this permit, your friend has to prove that he or she has in his own right and at his full and free disposition an assured annual income of not less than USD 24,000. The said amount should be derived from sources other than any such employment, occupation, trade, business or profession.

Further note that a holder of this permit is not allowed to work in Kenya whether for profit or non-profit without the direct authorization of the Director of Immigration Services.
