Breach of Contract

I have two year contract with my present employer here in Bahrain and I have completed only 6 months, for some reasons I wanted to apply for other company. If ever I find a job and resign without completing the two years, will I face any problems with my application and forfeit my offer to other company here in Bahrain due to breach of contract. Thanks!

Every employment contract is breakable as per the labor law by providing due notice as specified in the contract. The only issue that happens if you do it before one year is that you cannot get transferred to another employer without permission from current employer. After one year, you can transfer without consent. In either case, you can get your visa cancelled and then you have 30 days to apply for a new visa.
