Everything is in the title :D

How can we make people participate in the expatriate wiki? The goal is to create a kind of expat knowledge base for people who want to live in a foreign country. We need you to write articles, send links etc...

Maybe the first point would be to define a structure for each country, for example:

> the preparation: how much money do I need to settle down? which are the most important cultural differences? which papers do I need to bring with me?

> when you're there: Where to go? what should I begin with?

> finding a job: how can I get a job? how is the job market in the country? What about the working conditions?(how many hours, contracts... where to find some legal advice)

> finding an accomodation: where and how to get a flat/house? How much does it cost?

> general help: health insurance, find a doctor, find a school for your children, opening a bank account, buying a mobile, a car ...

> I am back: which documents should I bring back home? Who needs these documents?

Do not hesitate to complete the list ;)

How could we make expatriates share their knowledge? Is a wiki a good idea, or won't people participate if they don't receive anything back?
