Hello everyone! Probably this question has been around for n number of times but somehow it did not seem to clarify what I wanted to know and I did not come across this question in recent times. Anyway, I would be really glad if you could help me with this problem:

I have been waiting for my renewed permessio di Siggiorno (Carta Blue) for 2 months now. I am a citizen of India working in Bologna. I need to travel to Germany in the last week of July. I really hope my card comes before that but if it does not then will I be able to go to Germany by flight with the receipt of renewal from the post and old permessio along with my passport?

Thank you very much in advance. Any help would be appreciated.

If it does not arrive then you may not be able to travel. Old documentation means nothing.
Why not simply contact the relevant issuing authority and the airline and ask them??
