The interviews started from 14 th July. And go on till 25 th july.
Bahwan chennai slot was over on 14th July.
Mayb ur choice of location is scheduled for a later date.
Anjali, try sending ur cv to bahwan, globnet and tati.

I am currently in oman and i have sent my cv to bahwan long before.TATI also I have  sent filled application form.But there was no response.
Is PHD mandatory
R u working in any colleges under MOM?

Hi Anjali,
PhDs is not madatory but are preferred. If there has been no response then mayb they had sufficient doctorate degree holders for interview.
i attended interview twice..last year was selected but no vacancy. This year too am selected and waiting for posting.
Many PG lecturers r working in MoM colleges but last two years they Hve been selecting only PhD holders.
This year too on the day i attended only doctorates were selected as far as i know.
Now most foreign countries expect PhD.
But u can try since ME s too were called for the interview. Its the experience and performance that counts.
In UAE, ME s r given the post of Instructors but in Oman i think thats not prevalent.

I dont know anyone in any agency personally. I just mail and get replies. I c them only on the date of interview.
So i dont know if there is any way u can meet them and get application thru.

I attended for IT. We just have to wait for further instructions from recruiting agency.
When there is vacancy they will give offer letter and ask for required docs.

I attended the interview on 23rd July in Bangalore. I have been informed that I got selected on the same day. Now waiting for provisional selected offer letter. So for no updates from BCT.

I attended for physicin Pune but was not selected.
I had answered all their questions.
But still. Are there vacancies in applied sciences

There are vacancies in applied sciences. I assume you are a doctorate with at least 2 years experience in teaching.

They select candidates based on various parameters. It doesn't depend only on your technical skills.

You can definitely try for next academic year.

Hi, I have also appeared for Lecturer in IT on 18th July at Pune, and was selected after interviewed by panel members. on 5th August I have received the provisional selection letter and asked to mail scanned copies of douments.

Same experience here. I was selected last July 29 but up until now, no updates yet...

I too was selected on 31 July at Bangalore for the English Instructor's post and was told to be updated in a week's time. However , there is no update so far. My HR are completely a no show. They are ignoring my emails and calls. I request if anyone gets an updates do post about the same here. Also is there anyone else for the English Instructor post?

No updates . I've called Lakshmi mam. She said that , depending on vacancies in the colleges offer letters will be issued.  I think it will take more time . And I've also heard that if there are no vacancies we may not get job , so my advice is not to wait totally on this only. Any updates plz u forward to ***

I was too interviewed in July 2019 and got initial offer email from agency....they asked for my consent and documents copies.... I accepted the offer and mail them my documents but after that there's no news

Only English lecturers have received Offer letters.. No update yet for other fields..

It ,eee and accounts dept also few have recd offers.

Most likely they are prioritizing those who have PhD.. Or those who have exemplary credentials..

I have just searched a popular website for overseas job hunting here in my country and they (again) have openings for lecturer positions bound for Oman... I have attended last July and got the approval for MoM but up until now, no offer letter yet..
