EXPATS LOOKING TO MEET ... SOBER & NOT DRUNK! :-)

Post new topic

GuestPoster00

Hi everyone,

I've been here for about five weeks now and it seems that most socialising with expats occurs over drinks ... a lot of drinks ...

I'm looking to connect with expats who are interested in hiking, kayaking etc.

The most beautiful part of the island seems to be its nature, yet not many people seem interested??

Please contact me so that we can explore the island and then have a drink or two afterwards ...

BTW - for all intents and purposes, there are no Internations, Meetup or facebook groups.

Cheers,
Gene

Gene hi,
We will definitely make contact with you when we move there (sometime next year)
We've done a lot of hiking trails in Mauritius when we've been there, and we love the outdoors. I also find it weird that there aren't more people who enjoy nature.

Hope you come soon.

All the best,
Elaine

Hello Gene

Definitely interested !! Did a couple of mountain treks.. would surely love to kayak, try other sports - happy to assist and try coordinating as well.

Also, I try to dive every weekend - there's a club in Vacoas.. can PM leads if interested...

I also found very few Facebook groups but they do exist. I am interested in meeting up and do not really use Facebook.
