Dream house visa

Post new topic

Hi there, newbie here.
I'm just waiting for completion on my property in Spain before embarking on a new chapter of my life in Sri Lanka...........hopefully?. Of course this will depend heavily on whether or not I can obtain a 'My Dream House' visa. It seems that I hold most of the criteria that is needed for this, however, I am somewhat confused as to the type of Health insurance I need and whether I have to obtain this first before applying for the MDH visa?.
Also, is there someone who can explain the difference between 'Health Insurance' and 'Medical Insurance'. Which one do I need?. Confusion also about whether or not it has to be an 'International '
policy?.......................
I would be looking for a basic policy,.......... enough to satisfy  the requirements for a MDH visa.
Would really appreciate some clarification on this point along with any other relevant information that would be useful to me.
Many thanks.

Health & Medical Insurance are same and cover the eventuality incase one gets ill and needs a major surgery/treatment/hospitalization. Life Insurance on the other hand covers the eventuality of death, where the sum assured goes to the Nominee. The money would be handy for the dependents incase of your untimely death.
