ESL in Singapore and sport

Post new topic

Hello!
My name is Catherina. I am wondering how many opportunities there is in Singapore for me to join sports clubs and help coach teams part-time for fun while teaching ESL. I don't even care if it pays anything, I need it for experience.

Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me with information.

Any kind of job (only full time) for foreigner like you, there must be a sponsor (an employer or sports club or govt sport agency etc) who will apply work pass for you. So, you need to search through various job portals, official websites of sporting clubs or agencies then apply your job. Good luck

If you have a work visa for being employed as ESL teacher (which is quite unlikely, as most of them are freelancers, a status foreigners cannot have - but this was not part of your question, right?), you are not allowed to have any other paid (side) job. But of course you could get engaged as a volunteer in (non-profit) sports clubs. You should contact suitable clubs (which you find by googling) and ask how welcome your engagement would be there!
