From Ghana to Mauritius visa free but are there any other documents I have to carry along? Eg. medical report, vaccine card, etc.

What questions would be asked at the entry point?
Thank you

Are you coming in for holidays or what?

If you don't have work permit  or occupation permit then you should keep below documents:

1) Return Air Ticket
2) Offer Letter of Employer
3) Letter from Employer stating that all expenses during your stay would be born by them.
4) You should have address where you will reside in Mauritius.
5) Initially you would get Business Visa for 60 days which can be further extended for 30 days.
6) At immigration point in Mauritius you tell them that you came for work and show all above mentioned documents.
7) For Medical you will get a self declaration form in flight stating that you are free from decease mentioned in form.

I arrived 2 months back only and show them above documents only and got business visa easily without any problem.

Thank you so much but I have no letter of employment offer.
I will lodge in a hostel and look for a jib as a teacher or anything for a start.
I have enough money to cater for myself

Kojo there's no way you can enter Mauritius with tourist visa and then get a work permit

Ghanaians don't need visa to enter Mauritius

linuxghost

That doesn’t guarantee your entry

You may not need a visa but you will be still a tourist or visitor - hence not allowed to request a work permit if you are lucky to get a job during your stay.
