Heads up to expats-Canadians working in Mainland Specifically

I am working for a company in China (Dalian), this applies to all Expats (I'd imagine). With the political unrest in Hong Kong, there will be hold ups at customs for expats travelling back to the Mainland (possibly even on the way there). It may not be the case for all, but it is worth considering travel plans and timings if you plan on travelling this year. However much we believe the status of politics in HK may change/quiet down in due time-it goes without saying, expect to see tighter borders for the rest of the year.

I posted more details on my blog-check it out here.

Thanks for the head's up.

As long as all your biometrics are registered and you have registered locally (make sure you have a copy of your local police registration form, up to date and on you) you will be fine.
