Hello,

I am trying to find out how to change my name legally in Puerto Rico. I have the Puerto Rican driver's license but I was not born here. Does anyone know the process or the paperwork I should fill out?

You need speak with a lawyer, changing name has many repercussions

Why would changing a name have repercussions? I did speak to a lawyer and he wanted to charge me $1500. I was hoping someone could tell me how to do the process myself.
