Hi Arlette,

I hope you are doing fine and well settled in RAK. I hear now the laws are more relaxed for investors to start business in RAK without a local busines partner. I was thinking of opening a branch office for my tourism company in UAE by early next year provided the crisis situation in the Middle East improves.

Cheers and regards to your family. We all miss you in Mauritius.

As far as I'm aware, the only GCC country where you don't need a local partner is still Bahrain
