Apply for schools

vonHoesslinfamily

Hi, my family and I are moving to the UK next year June. We have 3 kids aged 2,6.7 years old. I am busy trying to find the right school for my kids but am having difficult on knowing what part of UK is to best raise them. I have noticed you need to choose the area eg: Nottingham, then go through the city council to apply for a school. How are you supposed to do this if you are only going to look for a place once you get there so you don't have a address to give them.
Please can someone advise me on how it all works.
Thank you
Angela

I would just move to the UK during the beginning of a holiday period to the town or city where you plan to live and then choose the school nearest. If the school is a private school then you shouldn't have any worries. Actually I do not see what the problem is.
