Holiday Certificate for my new Employer

Hello,

Thanks for giving an opportunity to post my Question.

I am a Belgian Citizen and currently working for an Employer from India. I operate from Ghent.

I have resigned from my current Indian employer and am joining a Belgian Employer.

I was asked to submit the holiday certificate, which my Indian employer does not what it is.

Can some one help me share a particular format or a link, wherein it can explain about the same.

Hi,

You must ask your Indiana employer to count the number of paid vacation days to which you are entitled. As well as the number of days of paid leave you have to take.

If the indian company has a base location in Belgium and if you are on belgian employment contract, the Indian company is obliged to give you the certificate.

They can deny the certificate only if you are on expat payroll status
